QVGuard Studio Features
QVGuard provides all the software and documentation needed to protect your QlikView applications.
The first step is to build the 'master version' of you QlikView application (or take an existing application you have already created).
Once you have developed this you use QVGuard Studio to autogenerate a small amount of special QlikView script and macro code which you then simply paste into the relevant areas of your QlikView application. You can then adjust the this script slightly to suit your needs - for example you may want to allow a subset of data to be loaded and/or allow only certain features (for example user selections) if the end user does not posess a valid QVGuard licence file.
Finally you create a 'published' version of your application in which the QlikView load script, macros and other features are inaccessible to end users. An end user will use this in conjunction with the QVGuard Client and a corresponding QVGuard licence file (which only you will be able to generate in your QVGuard Studio installation) to unlock the QlikView application's functionality!
All of this is explained in detail in the QVGuard Studio User Guide.
